Annals of ornate exclamations. This one caught my ear in a scene from the 2014 gay screwball comedy Such Good People — a response from a spokesman for a porpoise charity on their getting a nearly million-dollar contribution from the central characters of the movie.
A contributor to Urban Dictionary asserts confidently that it originated with Stephen Colbert, and that’s not at all implausible, but I haven’t found evidence of an actual event when Colbert used the expression.

Over on ADS-L, the hounds have been tracking down a quotation about comparative degrees of cultural evolution in different groups. On the 5th, Stephen Goranson supplied this report of a quotation on the subject, concerning Benjamin Disraeli, twice Prime Minister of the U.K. in Victorian times, and the only P.M. of Jewish birth:

On one occasion, when taunted with being a descendant perhaps of the thief on the cross, he replied, in proud and soul-stirring words, “My blood thrills with the traditions of my race! Yesterday, Geoff Nunberg supplied a wonderful Italian variant that crucially involves the Italian sexual slur frocio ‘faggot, queer’ (plural froci).

A play on Breakfast at Tiffany’s, with the Tiffany’s / Epiphany’s pun, using the noun epiphany ‘a moment of sudden revelation or insight’ (NOAD2).

Widely reported, in the middle of stories about the extension of the 2nd Avenue subway in NYC, a piece about Vik Muniz’s mural in the 96th St. station, with over three dozen mosaics of typical New Yorkers waiting for a train, including this gay male couple holding hands:
There’s a nice story about these men, “Meet the Gay Couple Holding Hands in That Groundbreaking NYC Subway Mural”, an interview with the men by Alexander Kacala on the (informatively named) Unicorn Booty site on the 3rd.

The book title Stranger in a Strange Land overlapped with Land’s End catalog (referring to a catalog for the Land’s End clothing stores [note added later: the company name is actually Lands’ End]). And illustrated with a combination of typical model figures from the catalogs and a figure from the cover of one of the editions of the book.
(Obviously, sexual content, so not to everyone’s taste.)
On AZBlogX yesterday, in “Johnny Rapid at the jizz ball”:
It started with a device for simulating ejaculation in making porn movies, called a jizz ball (or jizz-ball [or jizzball]) in an episode of (the American) Queer as Fuck (in which the character Emmett becomes an on-line pornstar). That led to jizz ball ‘orgy’, especially a gang scene with one person as focus (a scene I’m familiar with in an all-male context). And specifically to a scene from the 2012 video Jizz Orgy: Winning Ball (from Men.com) in which Johnny Rapid takes on four members of a soccer team (played by Blaze, Brad Foxx, Leo Forte, and Rafael Alencar). Johnny has a jizz ball!
