(The title is a warning; this posting is about men fellating men, and while the language mostly rises above raunchy street talk, the topic is clearly not for kids or the sexually modest)
I begin with a severely cropped image of one gay porn actor fellating another, a picture that manages to have no penis in it, despite the fact that the unseen penis is the emotionally central element of the act for both participants. Because what struck me about the image was, instead, the fellator’s state of being, as evidenced in his facial expression:

Fellatio as pleasure, fellatio as skill. I’ve written several times about the sensual and emotional satisfactions that a gay man can get from fellating another man (on the less appreciated sensual side: the mouthfeel and taste of a penis, and the sweat scent of an aroused man’s crotch, the smell of a man). And then there’s the fact that in order to get to those sensual and emotional pleasures, and beyond that to lose yourself in them, you have to become highly skilled in the act, able to perform it smoothly and automatically, without conscious attention and direction.
And that takes time and practice, just as with other skills. Just as with the component skills of playing tennis, playing pieces on the violin, drawing portraits, speaking Finnish, and so on, it takes a long time and a lot of practice to routinize these activities. Some people have a leg up on this learning, either because they are “naturals” — nature has endowed them with special abilities (physical or mental) that suit them to this task — or because they have prior experience with an analogous skill, but even these people have to practice the activities until they can just go with the flow, without thinking through what they’re doing. Most of us need even more time and practice.
So with fellatio. Most of us are fairly awkward at it at the beginning, and it takes some work to become truly skilled. Then if we’re fortunate, at least occasionally we will lose ourselves in the act, reach the state of ecstatic performance depicted in #1.
The joke version. You can sometimes appreciate the nature of experiences better by seeing them sent up playfully. In this spirit, I offered, in my 10/29/19 posting “Annals of burritio”, these absurdities from Taco Bell ads:

Ruslan Angelo. Now some words about the porn actor playing the ecstatic fellator in #1, Ruslan Angelo. Who chose his first name for professional purposes from Ruslan, the brave knight of Pushkin’s poem Ruslan and Ludmilla. RA was born on 3/28/88 — so he’s now 36 — in Sweden and has acted in porn since 2012 (he has also performed under the name Ron Bailey; and he’s said to be a professional gymnast). Lucas lists him as versatile (and the new scene he and Nick Zetta did for Lucas has the two men flip-fucking). In any case, he has a lean muscular body, is 5′ 11″ tall, tat- and piercing-free, smooth-shaven, and, yes, with a genuinely huge, 8″ uncut penis. (Zetta is also conspicuously versatile and is listed as having a 9″ uncut penis, which strikes me as downright uncomfortable, so I find Angelo’s fellatial (and anal-receptive) skills especially impressive; but of course that’s the sort of thing the professionals get paid for — they do it so you don’t have to, but can fantasize about doing it.)
