— AZ > TB:Ā Links! Pix! We need stuff to see, Toni! But I add that, despite my genuine regard for the Sacred Harp music I sing, I keep hoping that someone will create a site of Jockstraps for Jesus. (I am, um, fond of jockstraps, front and back; but also moved by the both the texts and tunes of SH music; I suspect that I have an unusually rich and peculiar mental life)
The pyjamas on offer on the net are mostly for women. Some just have crosses, variously styled. But then there are slogans, among them:
Praise the Lord, Jesus Loves You, Love Like Jesus, God Is Good, Yahweh, Faith, Rooted in Christ, I ā¤ļø Jesus, Faith Over Fear, Jesus Is King, Redeemed
Plus one sweatshirt, in a range of sizes and colors, with the legend He Left The 99 To Find Me, an allusion to the parable of the lost sheep (in Matthew 18: 12-14 and also Luke 15: 1-7). In a version from the supplier PegasusApparelUs on Etsy:

As it happens, both my helper Isaac (who’s a deeply pious fundamentalist Fijian Christian) and I (an amiable non-believer, with an excellent early life in mainstream, socially progressive American Lutheran and Episcopal churches) find this parable particularly moving, and we both prefer the KJV’s poetry; now that I’ve found the sweatshirt above, Isaac is venturing to buy one of them as a present for his wife. We both thank Toni for bringing us to this place. (Yes, in Isaac’s eyes, I am a lamb who has gone way astray, but he has faith that, eventually, Jesus will find me and bring me back to the fold; about this we do not argue.)

I did a double-take on the T-shirt because there is a locally ubiquitous restaurant chain (that also advertises copiously on local sports radio) called The 99.

Apparently their first location was at 99 State St. (in Boston). Note: you too could have looked this up.
