A cross-comic moment

Yesterday’s Mother Goose and Grimm goes meta, with a scene in the Dr. Seuss Cafe involving Dr. Seuss cartoon characters:

(#1)

The Cat in the Hat is spoiling for a fight with a Sneetch (on the left) and the Grinch (in the middle). while the table offers green eggs and ham.

The characters. First, the Sneetch. From Wikipedia:

(#2)

The Sneetches and Other Stories is a collection of stories by American author Dr. Seuss, published in 1953. It is composed of four separate stories with themes of tolerance, diversity, and compromise: “The Sneetches”, “The Zax”, “Too Many Daves”, and “What Was I Scared Of?”.

On the Grinch, see #3 in my 12/10/14 posting “Who-liday specials”.

On the Cat in the Hat, see my 10/17/13 posting “The cat in the $!☆#ing hat”.

On Thing 1 and Thing 2, see #6 in my 7/9/16 posting “Two cat cartoons”.

And on green eggs and ham, see my 10/22/14 posting “Green Eggs and Ham”.
