Among my friends are a great many book people: booklovers with bookcases all over and bookpiles alongside their beds (and, often, on other pieces of furniture and on the floor); book collectors in specific areas; writers; book reviewers; librarians; booksellers; and enthusiasts of bookstores — Bob Eckstein, in particular:
