Immoral Day 2016 and gay military porn

(Talk of men’s bodies and male-male sex, but nothing actually incendiary, and the explicit images are in my posting “Memorial Day military porn” on AZBlogX, not here.)

I start with yesterday’s Frazz, for the holiday:

(Hat tip to Robert Coren.) In my AZBlogX posting you can see the Channel 1 Releasing / Dirk Yates tribute to Immoral Day, in pornstar flesh (represented there by DJ, or D.J., Carlton in the 2008 flick Duty Weekend) offered for sale to celebrate American military men, democracy, and capitalism. As for capitalism, every American holiday, no matter how solemn its purpose, has been bent to serve commerce, and Memorial Day is no exception; plus, if there’s stuff to be sold, the gay porn studios are hard on the case.

For a variety of reasons, discussed in earlier postings on this blog, military men (or, at least, men framed as military men) are hot items in the gay male world, and Carlton might in fact have been a Marine when (or not long before) he appeared in this movie and the one other he did for Yates in 2008, The Few, the Proud, the Naked 15.

In any case, he looks suitably working class, tough, and military in the Duty Weekend stills. He’s seriously hung and he goes down on his buddies enthusiastically. So he’s a good offer.

Though I get a bit edgy about people using Memorial Day to sell appliances, cars, gaming consoles, pool and hot tub supplies, furniture, food (all attested), all sorts of services, whatever — you could see all of this either as immoral or as a passionate commitment to American ingenuity and greatness — I view facilitating ejaculations as just another product among many that can be served up to honor those who have died for America (surely no less meritorious than providing pool and hot tub supplies).

That is, I don’t view facilitating ejaculations as immoral, any more than is providing pleasurable challenges through computer games, or decorating rooms, or providing a venue for recreational target practice, or offering mani-pedis, or making music in public.
