In today’s Zippy, we move beyond classic surrealism, leaping off from Magritte:

Magritte’s man morphs towards cartoonism (with the apple becoming a bubble gum bubble) and then all the way to Pinheadism (with the bubble becoming a bowling ball (hence the title, “Spare Me” — ‘make me into a spare’; “Spare change” would have been another possibility).
