The comma-swatter

Today’s Rhymes With Orange:

Oh my. Arnold the fussy grammarian. (Arnold is an intrinsically funny name, it seems.)

But that should be garmmrian, not grammarian.

The name “Arnold” was certainly an important part of comic actor Arnold Stang’s persona. Remember Arnold Stang?

Oh yes, I remember Arnold Stang. From Wikipedia:

Stang once described himself as “a frightened chipmunk who’s been out in the rain too long.” As for his distinctive squawky, nasal Brooklyn voice, he said “I’m kind of attached to it…[it’s] a personal logo. It’s like your Jell-O or Xerox.”

Garmmrian makes me wonder if you’ve used other derived forms yet. I imagine the adjective would be garmmratical, the adverb garmmratically; there may be little need for garmmraticality, but there it is anyway.
