Coming up repeatedly in my Pinterest mailings, Per Palle Storm’s Drikkende gutt (Drinking boy) (1930), a male nude statue set in a fountain in Oslo. A remarkable study of powerful masculine muscularity while conveying youth and vulnerability at the same time. Two views:

Per Palle Storm (1 December 1910 – 6 January 1994) was a Danish-born Norwegian sculptor and professor at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts. (Wikipedia)
His subjects included, in addition to male nudes: female nudes, earnest tradesmen and workers, celebrated people, and powerful animals (elephants, leopards, etc.).
