From the annals of unintended phallicity

Found on the net, this story from the New York Daily News:

The new building for the People’s Daily newspaper, the official paper of China’s Communist Party, raises eyebrows and sparks lowbrow humor.

The building:

Add this to the long list of unintendedly phallic objects.

    How could you *not know* you were building a giant penis?

    Amazingly, there are quite a few situations in which people just don’t notice. In this case, the architects committed to a cylindrical building with a cap — there are many such buildings — and then things went on from there.

    The same goes for sausage/wiener/hot dog logos, as in this wonderful example.
