Triple play

Three varied cartoons fot the day: Rhymes With Orange, Pearls Before Swine, Dilbert.

(#1)

Rhymes: a play on the idiom hear it through the grapevine.

(#2)

Pearls:  the conceit is that there’s someone (Willy) who decides which words can be used.

(#2)

Dilbert: taking literally the idiom my gut tells me … , as if the gut can speak.
